Accurate employer-issued pay statements.
For authorized employers: import actual payroll data, issue readable records, give employees free access to their required statements, and keep every correction on file. Pricing is for the business software, never for an employee's copy.
What has to be true before this opens
- Employer authority verified. Organization identity, a verified admin, written authorization and acceptance of responsibility for wage-data accuracy.
- Data from a credible source. An approved payroll provider export or a signed CSV with employer attestation. The statement prints its
source_of_truth; "verified" is never invented. - Jurisdiction fields reviewed. Each state's required statement fields reviewed by counsel before that state is enabled. Massachusetts first.
- Calculation excluded or tested. Launch renders already-calculated payroll. A withholding engine ships only after independent tests against current IRS Publication 15 and 15-T and state fixtures.
- Employees never pay. Workers view and print required statements free, as Massachusetts law requires. Secure delivery, no public download links.
- Audit history. Who submitted, approved, changed, issued and accessed each statement. Corrections create a new version; the old one stays.
Who this is for
Small employers and the bookkeepers who run their payroll in a system that already calculates wages correctly but delivers statements badly: as attachments, as screenshots, or not at all.
- Import and render: keep your payroll system; we format, deliver and archive.
- Distribution, not disbursement: no wage payments, tax deposits or filings.
- Corrections with reasons: an amended statement carries its reason and approver.
- Planned price: a monthly employer plan with statements included; see pricing. Employees: free, always.
Pay statement questions
Is a generated paystub "verified"?
Only if the employer or an approved payroll source is truly verified. Templates do not verify earnings, and a statement here will print the class of its source rather than a badge it did not earn.
Can an employer charge an employee to print a required paystub?
Not in Massachusetts, where employees must be able to print required electronic statements free. Rules vary elsewhere; our employer plan never bills the worker.
I am an employee and need a paystub for an apartment. Can you help?
No. Ask your employer or their payroll provider for your statement; they are required to provide it. We do not make statements for individuals.
Will you calculate withholding?
Not at launch. Rendering already-calculated payroll is the first product. A calculation engine with versioned, dated rule tables and specialist review is a later, separately gated release.
